Calls for entry
A call for entry artists can finish on their phone.
Put your prospectus online in an evening: dates, fees, categories, rules and your own questions. Artists apply from any phone or computer, and every word they type is saved as they go.

Your own web address
Every organization gets a page like yourguild.galleryentry.com that lists all your calls. Link to it from your website or newsletter.
Autosave everywhere
Artists can stop halfway and come back tomorrow. Nothing they type or upload is lost.
Free for artists
Artists never pay GalleryEntry anything. They only pay the entry fee you set, and it goes to you.
Everything in your prospectus, on one clear page
Your call page shows the dates that matter in plain words: when entries open and close, jurying, notification, drop-off, the show itself and pick-up. Fees are spelled out line by line, so nobody has to email you to ask what they owe.
- Categories, each with its own fee if you like
- How many pieces each artist may enter, and how many pictures per piece
- Your own questions: short answer, long answer, choices, yes or no, file upload
- Agreements artists must check, saved with the exact wording they agreed to
- Open to everyone, members only, or unlisted (only people with the link)
- Publish now, or pick a date and it opens by itself

Applying is three plain steps
Your details, your artwork, then review and send. Artists create a free account right on the application, or sign in with a link sent to their email if they forgot their password. Before sending, they see exactly what they are entering and exactly what it costs.
- Works on phones, tablets and computers, in large readable type
- Pictures upload straight from the phone’s camera roll and are checked for size
- Pieces can come from the artist’s saved artwork, so they never type the same details twice
- A confirmation email and a receipt as soon as the entry is sent
- Reminder emails to artists with an unfinished draft, 3 days and 1 day before the deadline

Artists can fix mistakes without emailing you
Spotted a typo after sending? Artists can change their entry until the deadline and click “Send my changes”. You get an email showing exactly what changed. They can also withdraw an entry themselves.

One artwork library for every show
Every artist gets a free account with their own artwork library. They add a piece once, with pictures, medium, size, year and price, then pick it each time they apply, to your shows or anyone else’s on GalleryEntry.

Questions people ask
Do artists have to pay to use GalleryEntry?
No. Artist accounts are free, always. Artists pay only the entry fee you set, and that money goes straight to your organization.
Can artists apply from a phone?
Yes. The application was built for phones first: large type, big buttons, and pictures straight from the camera roll. It saves as they go, so a dropped connection loses nothing.
Can we accept entries that come in on paper or by mail?
Yes. Add a paper or mailed entry yourself, with its pieces and pictures, and it sits in the same list as everything else, including for the jury.
Can we run a members-only show?
Yes. Make the call members only and upload your member list. Only people whose email is on the list can enter. You can also give members a lower entry fee on an open call.
What happens after the deadline?
The call closes by itself at the time you set, in your time zone. If you allow late entries, you can add a late fee for a window after the deadline.
