Questions people ask
Is it really free?
Yes. Up to 100 submitted entries a year, every feature is included and there is nothing to pay: no setup fee, no per-call fee, no per-entry fee and no contract.
What counts as an entry?
One artist’s application to one call, however many pieces it includes. Drafts that are never sent don’t count, and a fully refunded entry gives you the entry back.
What happens if we go over the limit?
Artists are never stopped in the middle of applying. Larger organizations move to a custom plan, and we’ll talk it through with you before anything changes.
Do artists pay anything?
No. Artists pay only the entry fee you set, and it goes straight to you. GalleryEntry never charges artists.
Are there payment processing fees?
PayPal charges its usual fee on online payments, paid to PayPal, as it would for any payment. GalleryEntry adds nothing on top. Checks and cash cost nothing.
How do you make money?
From larger organizations on custom plans. Small guilds and galleries are free so the people who run them can spend their budget on their shows.
